"These counties entered into an inter-local agreement to allow GCBH to contract with the Secretary pursuant to RCW 71.24.025(13) to operate a single managed system of services for persons with mental illness living in the above listed counties including the Yakima Nation. GCBH receives Federal and State funds to provide medically necessary mental health services, for persons who meet State-approved criteria, and for whom services are medically necessary and clinically appropriate. GCBH ensures behavioral health services are available to enrollees through its provider network and works collaboratively with system stakeholders. GCBH envisions a community that encourages recovery, cultural competency, clinical excellence and access to services." (www.GCBH.org, 2017)
