One of the first Behavioral Healthcare EMR’s to achieve Stage 2 Meaningful Use Certification
May 20, 2014 – Syracuse, NY – JAG Products [ClinicTracker] has reached a major milestone by achieving Stage 2 Meaningful Use Certification for its electronic medical record system, ClinicTracker Connect. This designation indicates that the program has met the requirements set forth by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The Drummond Group's Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program evaluated ClinicTracker and certified it as meeting the criteria.
In becoming compliant with the Meaningful Use criteria, ClinicTracker has added new capabilities to an already feature-rich EHR. These upgrades include a significant upgrade to the Patient Portal, secure messaging from users to outside providers, the transmission of Transition of Care records via Direct messaging, and much more.
Mark Shriro, Director of Sales for ClinicTracker is proud of what ClinicTracker has accomplished, "Over fourteen years of development, ClinicTracker Connect has provided mental health and substance abuse agencies a completely integrated solution for both EHR and practice management." He adds, "Achieving Stage 2 Meaningful Use certification further affirms our commitment to offering customers an all-encompassing infrastructure tailored to the particular requirements of operations that provide behavioral healthcare." From intake to discharge, ClinicTracker Connect manages documentation, compliance, messaging, scheduling, billing, reporting, and accounting integration. It also offers ePrescribing, signature capture, and a host of other features. Managers can enhance patient care, improve staff efficiency, eliminate paper, and increase profitability with ClinicTracker Connect.
Achieving the 2014 Stage 2 Certification allows users that have attested for Stage 1 to now begin attesting for the next stage of the government program. New behavioral healthcare users of ClinicTracker Connect will be able to meet the CMS guidelines for receiving Meaningful Use funds.
