You can increase efficiency by using these suggestions?
Capturing digital signatures on various forms represent a crucial step on the road toward a paperless office. For years ClinicTracker has gathered the signatures using tablets from Topaz Systems. They’ve provided a rugged, reliable, and secure method that patients find simple to use. While we still recommend using those tablets, we are aware that they are expensive and can be hard to use for staff who work remotely.
Therefore, we have added the capability of gathering signatures through a touch screen or mouse. We have also partnered with VisTablet so we can offer a pen/pad device as an alternative. These units are much lighter and less expensive than Topaz tablets and they function over a terminal server connection without requiring additional adapters or settings. VisTablet has extended discounted pricing of $29 (normally $41.99) to ClinicTracker customers. To order a pen tablet at the discounted price, call 888-392-9230 and let the sales rep know you are a ClinicTracker customer.
Also remember that the ability to gather digital signatures becomes especially productive in conjunction with the eForms utility. This module allows you to:

Here are a few of the questions our support team responded to recently:
Thanks to Renee at QCI Behavioral Health!
Because of Renee's suggestion, BillingTracker now displays the Total Service Charge on each claim batch at the bottom of the Review Submission Batches form. By including this information along with the Total Assigned Balance, the process of uploading a claim batch to a payor or clearinghouse is easier because the total figures are calculated automatically.
For her excellent idea, Renee won our User Suggestion of the Month prize. Congratulations, Renee! You've got a gift on the way from your friends at JAG.

We now provide a host of new methods for capturing signatures both on pre-stored templates as well as those you create using the Custom Form Builder or eForms modules.

If you are an eligible professional who intends to comply with the measures for Meaningful Use, please don't forget these two very important rules:
Our understanding is that auditors are quick to pick up on compliance with these rules. You will want to pay particular attention to whether you have documentation to support your Meaningful Use attestation. You can determine your level of compliance for various objectives by going to: Reports -> Meaningful Use Dashboard.
Those of us in the behavioral healthcare industry confront a host of regulations and deadlines. The sheer volume of them has burgeoned since the implementation of Meaningful Use. Because staying on top of all these rules can be daunting, we thought it would be useful to you if we regularly highlighted some of the more critical ones.
Here's some information from the CMS Website about reporting for the eRx Incentive program:
The incentive program for electronic prescribing requires that agencies report the extent of provider participation. Both individual eligible professionals (EPs) and group practices participating in the program have to submit data about their prescribing activities for the period of January 1, 2013 – June 30, 2013. You must transmit the information successfully before June 30, 2013 to avoid payment adjustments for 2014. Missing the deadline could lead to a 2% reduction in your Medicare Part B PFS payments for covered professional services in 2014.
